May 8th - May 15th, 2020

Today would have been the second day of our 3-day NADP Experience 2020 conference in Las Vegas. My how things have changed. This pandemic has given us a new perspective on how businesses will move forward and how we at the NADP will move forward. It's a critical time in our history. Our industry is more important than ever as a tidal wave of divorce filings are expected.
We continue to be committed to connecting our members to the best professionals and resources in the business through all the means that are available to us at the moment.A lot of that will be done online until a time that this is in our rearview mirror. Until then we will be zooming.

We have a big week planned for you next week so make sure to schedule these upcoming events to your calendar.

For the first time ever, we will be hosting our new monthly NADP National Chapter Online Meeting providing you access to valuable divorce-centered education and the opportunity to meet other NADP members from across the country. Every meeting will include:
  • Marketing Moment (Includes a monthly marketing/social media tip)
  • NADP National Announcements
  • NADP Ed Talk
  • New Chapter Welcome
  • National Kudos
  • Member Introductions (attendee will be separated into smaller breakout sessions to make their introductions, network and connect with fellow members both near and far)

This month The Ed Talk will be presented by three of our valued Attorneys, Robert J. Merlin, Rosemarie Ferrante, and Evan D, Schein, as they share important updates regarding the present status of Mediation, Collaborative and Litigation in divorce cases.

People across every generation have changed the way they see the world, and how they will interact with it. On this webinar you’ll learn, generation by generation, how they have changed the way they buy, the things they value, and the priorities they have made as a result of the coronavirus. Using state of the art and up to the minute research by the marketing and branding research firm WGSN you’ll learn the big and small changes you can implement to be able to stand out and work with new clients in the way they want to work with you post-quarantine.

On this webinar we will be discussing how the following generations will want to receive information, what they are craving, and how to do business with them; Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, Alphas.

In the past couple of months, since the lockdown began, we are seeing an increase in domestic fighting and domestic abuse. Dysfunctional high conflict couples stuck in the same home are experiencing an entirely new set of challenges and so are the professionals they have hired for their divorce. During this webinar, Bill Eddy will provide you valuable tips to manage your high conflict clients and overcome some of the obstacles you are experiencing when trying to virtually provide your service to them.

Bill Eddy is a lawyer, therapist, mediator, best-selling author, and the co-founder, Chief Innovation Officer and Vice President of the High Conflict Institute. He pioneered the High Conflict Personality Theory (HCP Theory) and has become an international expert on managing disputes involving high conflict personalities and personality disorders.

To accommodate the needs of our students, we have scheduled a CDS® Live Online Training. The 16-hour program will be held on July 16th, 17th & 24th from 9:00 -3:30 pm EST daily. There will be several short breaks and a one-hour lunch break. All content will be delivered live, in real-time. Although this program is remote, it will still be an experiential training with participant involvement and several exercises throughout.
