***Some of our members are certified to provide services specializing in divorce or have received additional divorce-specific training such as Parenting Co-ordinators, Guardians Ad-Litem, Child Custody Evaluators, CDFAs, etc.***


  • Applicant must hold appropriate certificate or license in their listed profession for at least three years, or must have relevant professional experience where they held a position as the profession for which they are applying for a minimum of 5 years
  • Must provide at least two professional references
  • Must be highly skilled at his/her profession and be able to provide divorce-specific education to the chapter
  • Must be able to attend monthly NADP InstantConnect meetings on a regular basis (if registering as an InstantConnect member)
  • Must be committed to supporting other members and chapter growth



Attendance Policy


Due to the maximum allowance of three members of the same profession per chapter, and the ability for members to have enough time to establish valuable relationships and successfully contribute to the chapter, we have the following attendance policy:
  • Per membership year, each member must not miss more than TWO chapter meetings WITHOUT sending a representative and must NOT miss more than two chapter meetings WITH sending a representative. The representative should be someone that is familiar with the member's profession so they may contribute to the chapter meeting. If a member surpasses the allowed absences, their membership will be transferred to an OnlineConnect membership and their spot in the chapter will be available to be filled by a new member.


Membership Application

In order to become a member of the NADP, you must first submit a Membership Application and pay a non-refundable registration fee of $149.00. NADP National will review your application. If approved, you will then be able to register on our website and pay your corresponding annual membership fee.


Please apply if you meet the following criteria:
  • You've held your license for at least 3 years OR have at least 5 years of experience in your area of practice.
  • Your license is in good standing, and there is no pending disciplinary action against your license. You also must not have had any public disclosures or disciplinary actions reflected on your license within the last 10 years. If you do, you must indicate this history on your application with an explanation.
  • Your social media, website, and ratings sites match the professional category that you apply for, and that your ratings/reviews are within acceptable levels. 
  • Your business references can confirm that you provided excellent service for their client referrals.
  • Applicant must show at least one (1) year of professional service to the community in which the chapter is located. Exceptions may be considered in the discretion of the NADP National review board.
